Navigating CASAS New Assessment Series: Reading and Listening STEPS for ESL and Math GOALS 2

Target Audience: Title II Program Directors, Assessment Contacts, Coordinators, & Instructors
Description:
Participants will become acquainted with the new CASAS assessment series – Reading STEPS and Listening STEPS for ESL and Math GOALS 2 by examining sample test items and their alignment to the English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) and the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS). Participants will see the test blueprints and other resources on the CASAS website. Participants will have an opportunity to view some of the new TOPSpro Enterprise reports and identify ways these reports can be used to inform instruction.
