The Virtual IEL/CE Kickoff will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in two completely different sessions.
IEL/CE Kickoff Session Schedule:
10:00 am – 12:00 pm is designed for ALL providers, including providers only currently funded under 231.
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm is designed to be for ONLY New, Currently Funded 243 IEL/CE Providers
Who Should Attend the IECL/CE Kickoff Sessions (s)?
Curriculum Specialists, Curriculum Developers, Program Managers, and Title II Program Directors
In addition to program staff listed above, we highly recommend that instructors also attend the training sessions. Many of the topics addressed will pertain to instruction.
Required activities before the Kickoff:
Providers that are responsible for facilitating the IEL/CE program via 243 funds must complete at least Module 1 of the IEL/CE Certificate of Completion Training Course. Providers that are planning to deliver IEL/CE services via 231 funds are not required to complete Module 1 of the IEL/CE Certificate of Completion Training Course. However, it is highly recommended that ALL meeting participants complete Module 1 of the IEL/CE training course.
