Description:
During this session, the speakers will present some methods to assist our students and prepare them for the workforce through the development of a work-readiness mindset. Approaches discussed will include: integrating entrepreneurship, and the skillset necessary to be a successful entrepreneur, into the curriculum of your CCR department and the coursework of your adult education courses; educating your students on the 5 Chairs behavioral method and how this systemic approach can improve responses to social interactions; and utilizing a toolkit of resources, on Career and Workforce Prep Instruction, that can guide your students towards a career path that best suits their strengths and interests.
